The Connection Cafe'
Serving Times will be from 5:15 -6:15 p.m. each Wednesday.
Menu: The Cafe' will resume serving meals on August 11, 2010.
Notice: In order to be better stewards of God's resources, we will ask that you make reservations
each week for the Connection Cafe'. Forms are located in the pew racks, in the Worship Guide,
or you may call the church office @ 601.428.8493.
Everyone will need to make reservations by Monday @ noon for the Wednesday evening meals.
Thank you for your assistance in making the work of our Kitchen crew more efficient.
Classes meet each Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. 'til 7:30 p.m.
(Children's Activities will be on the same schedule for your convenience as parents.)

Discipleship Connection Courses for Fall Semester
Parenting: The Younger Years - Melanie Hubbard, Facilitator
This study, by Les and Leslie Parrott, is designed to address issues for young parents.
Melanie Hubbard will facilitate this study and lead the discussions each week.
The Man I Want To Be - Todd Jordan, Facilitator
This study, by Neal Jeffreys, is designed for men who are seeking to become the man
that God has called them, created them, and expects them to be. Todd Jordan will facilitatte this
study and lead the discussions each week.
Balanced and Blessed - Tim Hubbard, Facilitator
This study, by Charles Lowery, is designed to strengthen marriages. Whether you are a newlywed,
or have been married for many years, there will be information shared in this study that will strengthen
your marriage. Bro. Tim will facilitate this study and lead in the discussions each week.
Open Bible Study/Prayer Meeting - Dr. Don Stewart, Facilitator
This group will meet in the Sanctuary and will serve as the open study group. Dr. Stewart will lead a
study of Hebrews each week as well as lead the group in a time of intecessory prayer.

Whether in our Intecessory Prayer room on in the privacy of your home, you can
serve in Highland's Prayer Ministry. Our office staff uploads our prayer list each day
